Training objective: 2 hours at a very hard pace, like a race effort, with the cadence between 65-75 rpm's and heart rate at the 150-160 bpm's.
Degreased the bike earlier this morning and noticed the tire was not too bad, but gave it a bit more air. Went back to the bike when it was time for my ride and the rear tire was flat again. Crap. Zipped over to the bike shop where they used the compressor to put more air in it - there was a tiny amount of sealant leaking out of the rim. Will bring it back in for a closer look on Monday, but fortunately, it held for today's ride, though it was a bit of a distraction, as I kept looking at it to see if it was still okay. grrr, me and tires!
Used the lap/split function at mark the 60 minute mark.
Got a new KOM on an 11.8 km segment (20:10 or 35.3 km/hr), tied my previous KOM for the full 61 km circuit (1:43:52 or 35.2 km/hr) and 7 new PR’s (and a bunch of 2nd and 3rd best times). 37 Strava "achievements" in all. Would have been even better if I hadn’t gotten caught behind a couple of slow cars near the end of the circuit – and if it weren’t for the wind, I am sure I would have beaten my 40 km PR. Next time! According to Strava, my average power over the course of the entire ride was 217 watts.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
