Training objective: 2 hour ride with the 1st 90 minutes at a tempo pace with the heart rate between 145-155 bpm's and the cadence at 75-80 rpm's, followed by the last 30 minutes at a very hard pace again with the heart rate at 165 and the cadence between 65-75 rpm's.
Used the lap/split function to mark the 90 minute mark, the 30 minute hard ride (I gave it a couple of extra minutes), followed by the short cool-down back to the bike storage locker.
The tempo ride was fine, but had a hard time reaching the 165 heart rate objective for the final 30 minutes. A bit too much dipsy-doodling for the 1st 6 or so minutes of that final bit, weaving through traffic and waiting for a light, got caught behind a couple of other racefietsers going up Nescio brug who were a bit slow, then there were just a few too many recreational weekend cyclists and dog walkers (not surprising given it was a sunny, albeit chilly day). Plus, my right foot went numb from the cold. Excuses, excuses, right? :)
Still, I managed 17 new Personal Records, plus one Top 6.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
