Training objective: 2 hours with a cadence between 65-75 rpm's and the heart rate at 150 , followed by 6-8 hard effort bridge intervals.
Stronger wind against on the 2nd half of the power training ride, as well as for the odd numbered bridge intervals.
Unfortunately, had to wait for the bridge twice - once on the 1st approach, and then again later in the other direction for the 6th interval. Threw in one extra bonus interval on the other bridge on the way back to make up for it...
Used the lap/split function for the 1st hour of the power training ride, the 2nd hour, then the easy ride/cool-down to the bridge intervals starting point, and then for each of the bridge intervals and the high cadence cool-down back to the bike storage locker.
Lap/Split 1: 1st hour of power training ride
Lap/Split 2: 2nd hour of power training ride
Lap/Split 3: Easy ride to bridge intervals starting point
Lap/Split 4: 1st bridge interval (forgot to stop it for a few seconds - also had to wait for the bridge which was open)
Lap/Split 5: ride down the other side to next interval starting point
Lap/Split 6: 2nd bridge interval
Lap/Split 7: ride down the other side to next interval starting point
Lap/Split 8: 3rd bridge interval
Lap/Split 9: ride down the other side to next interval starting point
Lap/Split 10: 4th bridge interval
Lap/Split 11: ride down the other side to the next interval starting point
Lap/Split 12: 5th bridge interval
Lap/Split 13: ride down the other side to the next interval starting point
Lap/Split 14: 6th bridge interval (had to stop for open bridge near the top again)
Lap/Split 15: ride down the other side to the next interval starting point
Lap/Split 16: 7th bridge interval
Lap/Split 17: ride down the other side to the next interval starting point
Lap/Split 18: 8th bridge interval
Lap/Split 19: ride down the other side, then up the next bridge for a bonus interval (!)
Lap/Split 20: high cadence cool-down ride back to the bike storage locker

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
