Training objective: 10 minute warm-up followed by 60 minutes of full-on, pedal to the metal riding - cadence at 65-75 rpm and H/R between 155-160. Followed by a high rpm cool-down for just over 8 minutes on the way back to the fietsenstalling.
Warm-up is lap 1, Hard ride is lap 2 and cool-down is lap 3 in the splits section of Garmin Connect.
Very, very slight drizzle at the start and damp roads/cobbles from morning rain. Felt a bit tired at the start, perhaps because of yesterday's "rest day" workout, but was fine once I got into it. Had to take the foot off the gas ~ the 29 minute mark as someone decided to walk their horse in front of me...

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
