Trek Farley 9.6. Mostly sunny, cool at the start then perfect temps and falling humidity, no wind - just a gorgeous day for riding in the woods. They had some of the same storms we had on Monday night so lots of branches down and several trees. I brought my pruning sheers and saw and did quite a bit of trimming. I saw maybe 1/2 dozen other riders and one deer just before the park. The Illinois river was running very high, as was the Fox River down stream. Similar to Atwood in the hills, Kinsey drains pretty fast so except for the lowest trails, it was in good shape for riding. Just a few slick spots here and there. The constant ride arounds and tree crossings really slowed down my pace, plus it's also really hilly there. I stopped to remove debris about a dozen times and crossed over 3 trees down. Stayed in Peoria downtown overnight so I'll hit it again tomorrow.
