U Break, I FIx

A day-off ride to U Break, I Fix to get the screen on my Garmin 1030 Plus replaced, It had developed a "burn" spot when I toured in Spain last year. It "healed" itself but then it came back during a ride this past Spring. And then, additional "burn" spots developed while on my last tour this summer. So I ordered a replacement screen on Ebay ($38) and U Break, I Fix replaced it for $50 in a little under two hours. Rode the Trek Townie and tracked my ride with an old Garmin 200 (and it shows). I used the repaired Garmin 1030 on the ride back and it worked like a charm with a more responsive screen.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
