Turkeys strutting in the road. Got some video too. ILSP and Kensington was clear of snow but I had to portage 3 times over snow obstacles, almost 4 times so on the way back from the YMCA and library I stayed on the road long enough to skip the worst stretches before returning to the path. Chatted with a nice couple on horses just before the sweeper with two bridges north of Dawson. Their horses seemed to decide that since I was chatting with their humans they wouldn’t spook this time. I should have exchanged names but didn’t. The woman mentioned seeing me before and her horse getting pretty skittish. I’ll look out for them and hop out and introduce myself if it is warmer next time. I was in bike shorts and jersey and it was only 45F. Sunny though and no wind.
