Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I started on this ride and noticed there was a rider already on it, so I put the segments on, which I don't usually do. I shouldn't have been surprised to see it was you. " I bet he's going to do the entire Grossglockner ride", and of course I was right. I had considered doing the entire ride but, I just didn't have it in me after finishing the 1st part. Doing a remodel project on the house and that really took the steam out of me. Don't see how you work all day during the week and come home and put in a hard effort on the bike. I used to do that, when I was younger. Couldn't do it now though.
You probably passed me out there. You could likely have done the second part, as it's much easier than the first.
I usually only do these longer rides on the weekends. After work, I usually only do around 20 miles.
It looks like it will be warming up here this week, I may get in some outdoor rides.
I decided to do a nice, easy ride yesterday. Proceeded to make it as difficult as I could. Averaged over 20 mph and 200 watts for the whole ride. It was a good workout.
Hope it's gonna warm up here soon. Kep thinking it's headed that way and then we get hit with some cold and more snow.
Funny how when you think you need an easy day, you find that everything seems to be firing on all cylinders and you get going really hard and it feels good. I love it when that happens.
I'm planning to take a long lunch today and get in a ride outdoors. Here's the forecast for Taylorsville this week:

Holy Mackerel! That's a cycling dream forecast! Hope you get some great outside time in. Got a couple of days coming up in the 70's here. Then back into the 50's with rain and some sun for a couple of weeks. Hope I can get an outside ride on Thursday. From there just take it as it comes.
