With me at the helm plus nine followers, we head up Chandlers Hill. Past Pinewood Studios and Farnham Royal, our coffee stop is Sunrise Cafe at Burnham Village. After our refreshments, we head once more into the wind, and after a little bit of R61 we pass through Bray, Paley Street and White Waltham. Our lunch stop is The Royal Oak at Knowl Hill. We eat outside in the garden, although the going is decidedly soft after the overnight thunderstorms. Our return leg is along the KH cycleway, Lillibrooke Manor and Bray. Tea is at Dorney Court and Hoppo selects his own route home from here. The Chalfont Chums, John Mac and Geoff depart near Upton, while the rest of us head for Iver. I stop at the canal junction at Cowley anticipating a couple of departures for Uxbridge. Instead five take up the offer. So I'm soon on my own for my final treck back to Hayes. It was a great day and nice to at last complete the route postponed twice because of either sickness or bad weather. Cheers Bernie
