Katy Trail - Sedalia to Boonville - Day 1

with Stan Sattinger - these 5 days of riding represent not only the Katy Trail ride but also a significant portion of the missing link across Missouri from the 1978 trans-am trip. In '78, we stopped riding at Washington, MO. George Azar talked a fellow by the name of John S. West (Southern Trucking and Equipment Company - Poplar Bluff, MO) into giving us a ride in his pick-up truck to Greenwood, MO. There, we stayed for 2 days in home-type (AYH) hostel. The remaining section of Missouri to be completed is from Sedalia to Greenwood. Now that the Katy Trail is complete from Sedalia to Clinton (it was incomplete in 1978 and 2000), I will go that way and then onto Greenwood.
