It's getting a bit warmer. But only a bit. In the mid 70's Winds from the North West. Perfect for the SS ride. The legs felt good from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. Banducci went well. I was mitigating traffic. So, I wasn't 100% concentrated. I took a few moments rest and then headed down. I had fun practicing the tuck. Reaching 40MPH+. Banducci had more traffic than the previous ride. I reached the tunnel in under 1 hr. So, I was doing good time. (I stopped near the end of OTR, turned around by about 20 or 30 yards. I saw a snake in the middle of the road and wanted to take a photo. By the time I turned around, it had made its way off the road). In my mind, I was about 30 seconds delayed. I made my way through SS in good time. Headed back on Banducci and through the farmlands. I tried to keep the pace no less than moderate and was stretching here and there. I reached Boss Hogs in under 1:20 hrs. The last climb went well. The legs didn't complain much, so I was able to put in a good tempo, to the summit. From there it was recovery, traffic mitigation down Route 202. Fun and games on OTR and the usual push over Mariposa and home. Concentration was average. I was having to coach a bit. Balance and form was the lesser of things. Ailments were next to none. Gear is working well. No issues. The GoPro appears to be functioning normally. (It hasn't "ghost" started since I updated the firmware. More time to determine verification). The GPS worked flawless, with Live Tracking. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
