Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was warm, but some over-cast. I'd say, in the 80's. Winds from the North West. Yesterday, while working in the garage, I bumped my leg againsta metal chest. Suffice it to say, I put a slight gash and a bruise to go with it, on my outer knee. I was sore in the morning, but decided to ride in any regard. The moment I got on the bike and headed out, I knew I was going to be ok. Apparently, certain injuries feel better on the bike than off. I decided to go to WS today. The wind appeared to be significant when I departed, but by the time I reached Highline, it subsided. I felt average on the way out. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. I cruised my way out to WS. Doing mostly moderate tempo. The return trip went better than I had anticipated. I was doing no less than moderate tempo. In the saddle most of the time. The last few kickers felt good in terms of balance and form. The remainder of the ride was the dig to OTR and over Mariposa. Concentration was good. I had some things to think about and it kept me occupied. I figured out how to make playlists on my Walkman, so I was able to estimate where I was going to be when a certain artist was going to play. Balance and form felt good. I adjusted the cleats to have less heel in. Ailments consisted of slight soreness on the right outer knee, it got better as the ride progressed. Gear is working well. Note to self, if you stop the timer and discard the results on the GPS, you must restart the Tracking app. Other notes, I saw 2 cyclists today, and a glider taking off and landing.
