Paul Douglas Snowy Fat Bike Ride 1-22-25

Farley 9.6. Mostly cloudy, snowing and very cold, 10 degrees up to a max of 14 with a very low wind chill temp, wicked SSE winds in the mid teens. I was the only one out today, didn't see another cyclist and no other tire tracks. I stuck to the West trails and did most of them in both directions since no one else was out.

Nice trail conditions with a packed layer covered by 2" of fresh powder. I saw 27 deer which I think is the 2nd highest total at Paul Douglas. First group was 5 does sitting right by the trail, last group was 3 bucks, 2 x 6 point and 1 x 8 point.

Stopped by the Assembly for lunch after the ride.
