Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's hot. Not exactly 90's, but pretty darn close. Hardly a cloud in the sky, contrary to the prediction. The legs were a bit heavy to start, and the heat didn't help things. We took it easy, going up OTR. The ride was stop, go, stop, go, etc. Somewhat exhausting for me. Suffice it to say I got a good workout in. I think my prediction that it would take 2:20 to 2:30 hrs was right on. It was the non-moving time that I wasn't sure of. I think the only part that I put in a dig was Banducci. From that point on, I held back a bit. We stopped a few times for bio's and photos. We stopped at the mini-mart in SS to buy drinks. From there it was the tailwind back to home. Traffic was unusually busy today. We had our lights, so it was relatively safe. Router 202 had just a few cars and was more safe than the previous time. Concentration was good. With company and a few things to think about, I was sufficiently occupied in the mind. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, next to none. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
