Today was the last day with Company. We decided to go to Keene, as that was the next ride in the order of things. It was much quicker this time... We made our way to the summit and headed down. Peggy turned around at the base of the Loop. I went to the bottom and turned around. The weather was warm, but not scorching. I was sweating for the duration of the climb. Mostly counting away the landmarks. I was pushing a bit more than usual as I had a carrot in front of me. I wasn't sure when/if I was going to bridge up to Peggy. By8 my calculations, I think I was about 18 to 20 minutes behind her. She did much better this time and reached the summit before I did. She took a quick video and then we met at the summit. Concentration was good. I had a thing or two on my mind. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, right hand numbness, some mild knee soreness. None of which escalated. Will likely need to check the cleats before the next ride. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, one other cyclist today. We crossed paths twice. I'm not sure if he was doing back to back climbs, or perhaps he parked his car at the base?
