Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

it's hot, but overcast. I decided to do WS + Banducci. I have an appointment at 3pm today, so I didn't have enough time to head down to CV. I felt good from the start. Making it to the end of OTR in good time. Highline was interesting. I had a tailwind to the top and then the wind turned to a headwind. To my favor, I had a tailwind most of the way back. I did mostly moderate tempo on the way out. Higher tempo on the way back. Banducci took a few moments to settled in to a steady rhythm. After reaching the summit, I headed back. Mostly fun and games. No pushing over Mariposa. They resurfaced the tarmac on Weston and Bald Mountain Drive. It was mostly tar and was not cured when I got back. It was sticking to my tires. I used my tire squeegee to try and clean it up a bit. Suffice it to say, I'm not happy about it. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. Balance and form felt good. I was putting more attention to it on the steeper and off camber parts. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness, some right knee soreness that subsided in a few minutes. Gear is working well. The GPS disconnected from my smartphone, but reconnected shortly after. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
