今天是周老闆的新手團,一如以往,起點的荃錦坳又是人山人海,新知舊雨加起來,起碼有六、七十人。又一如以往,各新知舊雨全程跟足老闆路線的,只是十多人而已。
我也是跟老闆一齊起步,自知踩的慢,我盡量爭取時間,踩在隊伍的前頭。但是途中遇到一位不認識的車友,他踩到掉了腳踏,我停下來看看可以有什麼能協助的地方。沒多久,Rocky 也停下幫忙,在 Rocky 努力下重裝腳踏,可以繼續踩車。原來是新換的牙盤,好大可能是車店的師傅做的不妥善;我們發現最外的幾圈鑼紋掃了牙。
因為昨日曾經有大雨,今天的山徑雖無太多積水,但係河背新入口這段路就好跣,我技術唔好,半推半踩完成,努力追上大部隊。因為踩的比較保守,我順利到達光明頂,據說老闆等車友剛離開幾分鐘而已。
完成膛呔徑,到達大欖林道,追上老闆的大部隊,稍稍休息,預備踩上去。老闆計劃踩新元朗仔,我們部份車友因為不想在完成新元朗仔後,又要踩廿分鐘的馬路往清快塘。經商議後,改為踩法國仔。
今天的山徑,除新河背入口段比較差一點外,昨日的大雨好像沒有影響其餘路線,法國仔的路況不錯。我滿心歡喜,今次算是完美暢順完成法國仔。可是我在幾乎完成的位置摔倒了,還被自已的單車卡著,要車友幫忙解救;及後還有兩位車友在同一位置摔倒。
在清快塘與老闆會合後,又是各走各道,老闆踩高速公路、四排石。我們踩去青龍頭方向,圓墩徑、竹林,落去危險倉。我在圓墩徑摔飛一次,過樹根的角度不好,單車被帶往跌出山徑下。之後就一切順利到達吉慶橋。
到吉慶橋後,我們的小隊又分開兩路,一路環塘,落黃金海岸午飯。另一路就是傳統路線:伯公坳、荔枝園。我因為腳痛,選擇較短的荔枝園路線。
離開吉慶橋不遠,正在上坡途中,忽然聽到後面不遠的南極光大叫,原來是單車嚴重故蟑,後撥出事,不能再用。幸好我們隊中有勝哥,有他在,好快定出補救方案,幫忙攪定:截鏈、單速。在這樣的情況下,當然不能繼續去伯公坳、荔枝園;掉頭回去吉慶橋,去河背村是最好的路線。
我們踩去上村午飯,飯後經林錦公路回去,我就因為腳痛,沒有踩上林錦,在開始爬坡的位置推行到嘉道理農場。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
