RAGBRAI XLVI (2018) Day 3

GOING ROGUE... decided to ride the Raccoon Valley River Trail from Jefferson, over the High Trestle Trail bridge and then rejoined the official route at Luther. Worked out well... met some interesting people doing the same thing. Bridge was fabulous and everything I'd read about it. Trail is extremely smooth concrete with a few asphalt stretches. Found breakfast at a bar in Jamaica and lunch at a bar in Madrid. Took a few miles of gravel to close the gap in the trail between Perry and Woodward, but nice, hardpacked gravel grinding. Coupla tough northbound stretches into the wind.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
