Paul Douglas Preserve Fat Bike Ride 3-26-25

Farley 9.6. Mostly cloudy to partly sunny but beautiful skies when they showed through the clouds. Temps were cool, high 30's but felt a bit cooler with winds. I'm honestly surprised they opened the trails as it was still pretty muddy, especially in the Northwest prairie - good choice bringing the fat bike. I got thoroughly muddy and it took quite a while to clean the bike.

Still, great to get out on a trail for a change but it was very slow going with all the mud. I hit all the West trails then crossed over and took the East trails back down with a couple of double back loops. No other riiders out at all and didn't see any hikers either. I did see 5 deer though.
