This Halloween Medium ride although led by me, was controlled by my astral spirit guide named Norman, a small Victorian boy with rickets. Seven Loiterers and a witch elected to join the ride. Firstly Norman directed us to go to Denham church to see the grave of the murdered Victorian Marshall family. On the way there we were attacked by 2 masked figures brandishing axes etc. Luckily they turned out to be Captain Morgan and Woody who both joined the ride. Norman then directed us to the new cafe by the RAF bunker for the morning break before leading on to St Martins Church in West Drayton to see the Restless Raven "as large as a vulture and black as hell" that haunts the place. Next, on to the area where a Canadian Airforce Halifax crashed in 1943, killing its crew of seven. Finally Norman allowed us to break for lunch at one of the most haunted pubs in the country, the Ostrich in Colnbrook where a 17th century landlord, murdered his customers. A bit of a wait for the food to arrive but well worth the wait. Norman's voice was now difficult to make out among the other voices in my head screaming "Kill them, kill them all, kill them all right now". However, I eventually made out that we were to head back via Eton College to get a glimpse of its Luptons Tower where the ghost of Jane Shore, former mistress of Edward iV, makes appearances and then Upton Park where on Friday nights the ghost of a blood stained woman roams the area. From there we headed back to Uxbridge dispersing on the way.
No Loiterers were traumatised by the ride.
