RWGPS is still 1 hour off on start. It was 455am to start, a bit before sunrise as I tried to race the sun to get to road numbers of under 100 before sunrise. I got close! What great roads. Only 1 sort of sketchy neighborhood area and that was around 35th Ave around Mile 20. Since I did it on a Sunday the traffic was very minimal as expected, which made for pleasant cycling. So I see no reason to HAVE to ride another set of roads, unless just wanted to explore. The trip up S Mtn was great as I beat the 10 am cutoff of re-opening to traffic. I noticed many cyclists going up a 2nd time or more. Since this was my first ride up, I just did the route as listed. I took it easy up the hill to the towers and just enjoyed the ride.
