Welland, ON to N. Tonawanda, NY A shorter ride today to give us time to do the tourist thing at Niagara Falls and to cross the border back into the US. The ride to Niagara Falls was mostly uneventful although we are back in carlandia now, with infrastructure that assumes people only get around in cars. NF was so peopley. I got a couple video shots and then was ready to leave (but we ended up having second breakfast there, too). We crossed the Rainbow Bridge, stopping to trade in our pretty, funny, money for boring US money. The border crossing went like this: Q: What did you do in Canada? A: We rode our bikes! Q: Are you bringing anything back with you? A: A small bottle of maple syrup, some maple candy, and some peanuts Welcome back to the United States. We continued toward North Tonawanda, NY and when Megan saw the city limit sign advertising that they are the Home of the Carousel she first commented on how there's more than one and second, looked up where The Carousel is and third, led us to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum for a tour and a ride.
