Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went for a solo ride today in the late afternoon. The weather was good, a little hot on the way back due to the tailwind. I got a flat tire today. I was due for one in quite a while. I felt comfortable on the way out. No heroics. The way back up was excellent. I was able to keep it comfortably below the red zone almost the whole way up. Again, I was able to get my heartrate higher than normal. I got my mountain bike back yesterday. I installed a computer mount on the stem. I can't wait to go mountain biking soon. Roger's bike has something wrong with one of his brakes, I hope it can get fixed soon.
I had no discomforts on the way back. My body was responding perfectly. My roadbike continues to work flawlessly (besides the flat tire).
