Seven with Slicks. Sunny, cool at the start but warming up nicely and again very windy with WSW winds 18-20 mph all day. First 29 miles was into it out past Windsor, then we got a nice break on the ride down to and after the ferry. More headwinds after the last rest stop in Avoca Farms, then finished with a 10 mile headwind. Gorgeous day with some really nice inland views. Rode with Tom and a friend of his from Raleigh, Stephanie, plus a few others that latched on to our wheel periodically. I'd estimate I did about 60% of the pulling, especially into the wind. Average speed should be much higher on ride time (@17.5 mph), but I forgot to pause the GPS on the Ferry ride, which dropped our average from 16.8 mph down to 16.0.
