Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was the first cold day since summer started. It was around low 50's. I wore 1 base layer, arms and knees, no cap. My legs were a bit heavy for the first few miles of the ride. The extra friction of the knee warmers took me a mile or two to adjust. After reaching Route 202, I was good to go. My head was a bit cold, but the weather was just warm enough to where it wasn't an issue. I did moderate tempo going up Banducci. The descent was nice and easy. I made my way to SS in slightly more than moderate tempo. I had no intentions in doing good time today, as is reflected in my metrics. I just wanted to get the ride under my legs without having to make it such a chore. My concentration was in and out, but mostly in. I had to coach myself was I was progressing through the ride. I think my focus was a lot better after the first half. Ailments were negligible. Just the slight discomfort in the head from the cold weather. The dense air made breathing a welcome reprieve from the past heat waves. Balance was surprisingly good. I was on top of the pedals most of the time. Gear is working great, I hear some mystery noises, but very minor. Other notes, I brought my new Galaxy S5 smartphone along for the ride. I took some photos. I haven't looked at them yet, but I have high expectations. The green house project out in the farmlands looks to be near completion. I took some photos of the progress.
Other notes: I reseated the rear wheel, but slight mystery noises continue. I consumed my bail-out bar at exit of SS & CVR climb start.
