Time for my last R12 ride of the year! The b2 in the title means I made a couple changes in original ( used Exeter instead of Lafayette & stayed off MC 85). Riding this on Sunday was wonderfully car free. I made it to S Mtn at 8:15 and had finished getting back to the Bike Hub after San Juan at 1015 ( roads top top open to all traffic at 10), so it was very delightful. Temps were awesome. Exeter is MUCH better to bike than Lafayette if you want to sight see. So many large, nice homes. I took my time in a steady climb pace to top of S Mtn. I finished faster than I did the 1st time I rode the route. I did NOT stop for a food break. I did stop 3-4 times for bathrooms. Ate a lot of my "granola bars" that I carried.
