Sunday 7th July Breakfast in the hotel room this morning , due to Linny and Bingo shopping spree last night, bananas, fruit bread, coffee and juice pretty good. All of us in a pretty upbeat mood considering yesterdays adventures. My eye has completely swollen up , taken the first pills of the tour for me so fay, anti hesimean spelling not right. All ready to go Linny decided to put some air in his rear wheel and loses the swivel seal pin, so we replace the inner tube no problem, still left before 08:00. Once we got out of town the roads where surprisingly good for the first 20 odd mile. The we hit some pretty rough roads, though we where all expecting this, pushed on through to a little shop for are first ice cream of the day. Carried on then the road improved for an 10 mile section it made all the difference to our moral and speed, though this soon returned to normal. Stopped at Krematorsk for a picnic lunch, then picked up the original route Linny is so good at rerouting on the go. The last 40 odd miles where big rolling hills into a little head wind, all good training , went through another check point Linny said F**** are we still in the the war zone, but the police controlled this one , so hopefully not. Stopped at a little shop with the normal characters who loved our adventure and seemed really interested in ore ride, through google translate. Once again the the final 15 or so miles was very hilly, big long drags, which the touring bikes seemed to be able to cope with with remarkable ease. Arrived at the hotel with a grain lorry overturn on the steep hill into town.and the normal shouting hotel owner which we are getting very used to.
