Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

We had EIGHT riders with us today!

Siddharth, Brandon, Stephanie, and Angela were in the original crew.
We were joined by Jared and Erin who registed later, and Andy and John
who found out about the ride too late to register but rode along with
us anyway, and foraged for their own food.
Friday night all of us registered riders picked up our numbers and
tags at the Hilton downtown and headed to Joe's for dinner. Afterward
Brandon and Angela explored the high protein food options at Greenstar
and Wegmans.
The following morning at 6am everyone met in Stewart Park for the
opening ceremonies and then we headed out. Andy, John, and Brandon
broke away early, trailing Angela who was eventually overtaken on the
hills by Siddharth and Jared. Jared was riding a bike with no
deraileurs - he had only one gear! Impressive. Especially on the
hill climbing. Erin and Stephanie took a somewhat saner pace.
At various points we met up again at rest stops. Jared's chain hopped
off the rear cluster at one point - no deraileur = no tension control,
as it turns out. Brandon got a flat tire sometime after Union Springs
but caught up with Angela at one of the later rest stops. Andy and
John tore up the pavement, zooming up hills with no apparent effort.
Siddharth kept a steady pace and snuck past Angela at a rest stop
after lunch while she was likely munching on some of the fabulous
cookies. Mmm. Cookies. Erin did great in her first century ever, as
did Brandon and John. I can't recall if Jared has done a century or
not - he's certainly strong enough to have! And I think the Most
Impressive Performance has to to go Stephanie, who managed over 90
miles despite a grueling schedule this summer that permitted her only
THREE training rides. Watch out next year, 'cuz she says she's
actually going to train. LOL
Andy, John, and Siddharth had pressing engagements and left not long
after reaching the end point. The rest of us hung around, took
advantage of the free massages, ice cream, and nibbles until it was
time to head back over to Stewart Park where CTB provided salad,
bread, chicken, two kinds of lasagna, two kinds of pasta, corn on the
cob, and probably other things I'm forgetting.
A great time was had by all.
