For our 2019 Wisconsin Weekend ride, Gary, Dave, Bob, Geoff, Todd and I drove from our townhouse at Christmas Mountain to Wonewoc, Wisconsin to ride the State 400 and Omaha Trails. We left around 10:00 in three cars and arrived in Wonewoc around 10:30 a.m. We started riding the State 400 Trail at 10:48 and reached Elroy around noon. After having a group photo taken, we resumed riding at 12:17 and continued northward along the Omaha Trail, arriving at the tunnel at 1:17. After taking a group photo in front of the tunnel, we resumed our ride at about 1:30 and backtracked southward. Back in Elroy, we walked to a bar for a mid-day snack at about 2:30. We all had cheeseburgers, then resumed riding our final leg back to Wonewoc, where we arrived at about 4:00. We then drove back to Christmas Mountain Village. Skies were mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-60s to around 70 and light winds. I wore arm warmers for about half of the ride.
