Day 8 Waldoboro to Boothbay Harbor

Off the Adventure Cycling route to Boothbay Harbor. Perhaps because the road down to BBH is a bit narrow, shoulderless, crumbling pavement edge, and short sight distances.

Made up for it by going past the summer place of Frances Perkins, who brought us Social Security, and a few other great things.

Boothbay Harbor was good and the Flagship Inn on the edge of it worked out well, since it has many services nearby, and is convenient to other places to visit and the harbor front.

No shipping really from there though, could not ship my tent home yet.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
