This morning I woke up pretty early to the general wet mist around me in the park. I cycled around to the cape of Nemuro Bay. On the way there, I went to a boardwalk that had wild ponies and horses. A horse came right up to me, eating things off the boardwalk! This horse taught me how to pet horses, as she was so kind and gentle. She let me pet her and I did graciously for a while. She was so beautiful! The cape had a big archway with a flame in the middle, which was cool. Back at Nemuro, I helped Steph train one of her last training sessions before nationals. I then discovered that there was a rider house nearby, so I thought with the off and on weather I'd check it out instead of camping at the park again. I was so glad I did. Before I had even set my bike down, the owners came out to greet me. It was a man and his sister, probably in their 40s, and their mother. They made me tea and excitedly chatted to me. The deal was, if I bought their crab for ¥2800 I could stay the night. They were local fishermen and their specialty were these big crabs. The crab was done about 5pm and was delicious! I was the only one staying the night, so I had the entire giant loft to myself. I'm lucky I chose to stay here as it started pouring during the night. I enjoyed some tea and chocolates from the convenience store nearby in my Soya Misaki mug and spent the night editing. I finished editing a scene from my aerobics doco!
