Reliance to Buck Bald - 11/03/19

This is a beautiful ride! Starts on the Hiwassee River, spends the 1st 6 miles on pavement, then becomes mostly gravel. Climbs are steep clockwise, though not super long. The highlight is Buck Bald! The views are stunning up there, particularly on a day with some clouds! A lot of climbing in 65 miles. You’ll cross 68 at the Copper Creek Visitors center, can get water and snacks there usually. Several churches along the route, likely have water spickets, but have not taken the time to check. Creeks are prevalent so possible to replenish with a filter. You’ll enjoy the work on this ride! Counter-clockwise may soften those climbs?

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
