The Wind Gods Hate Us

We were having a great ride out to Anthem when the winds really picked up out of the northeast. They must have been gusting into the mid-30s. Ron Hoover was doing his best to pull Peggy and me, but even with his size he was not an effective windbreak. We were struggling to maintain 7 mph into the wind. When we finally made it to Cave Creek Road we were soft pedaling and going over 25 mph.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
