Enola Low Grade Trail

Rail-Trail in located in Chester and Lancaster County PA. Recomended route is from Quaryville to Safe Harbor (out and back). There are benches and bathrooms located at various points on the trail. A bridge crossing a road was recently burned, the map includes bypass. Trail east of Quarryville is dirt and can be muddy.

Trailhead is located near intersection of 372 and 472 (utilize on-line map)

Built between 1903 and 1906 by the Pennsylvania RailRoad, the Low Grade Line significanly changed the landscape through wide scale cuts and fill created to support level pathway for trains. linking Philadelphia, New York and Baltimore.
