water tower twilight ski

Got out on the trail a little earlier today. Gorgeous sunny BSD aft'n w/ incredible visibilities on water tower hilltop summit (1100 ft elevation). Slow going in woods w/ all the tree limbs/branches brought down by last Sat./Sun. Nor'easter snowstorm. All around the trails, sounds of homeowner 5000 watt gasoline generators running by people still w/o power 3 days after the storm. About 6 inches of snow left on ground (with very high water content); should stick around for a few more days!! Will get a couple more days of early season xc skiing in ! Sunny, w/ departing ocean storm cloud deck off to the SE, air temp 47 F, dew pt 33 F, winds mostly NE but vrbl < 10 mph.
