Mountain biking with Pete and Andy from Beaudry. I started behind them, and thought Pete was joking when he said they would go up S. Beaudry, so I went up N. Beaudry and they weren't there. I also cracked my knee and received a cut from something on the front end of the bike when I mis-shifted while out of the saddle. I rode down S. Beaudry a short way to rendezvous with the boys. Pete called for Whiting Woods, and I was not very enthusiastic. Some annoying gnats out, particularly at the bottom of Whiting Woods. Pete broke his chain early in the ascent of Whiting Woods when a pin on one side of the master link snapped off. We used the chain breaker of my multi-tool to get the chain put together again. While we were doing that an attractive lady walked by. It was getting dark by the time we had Pete rolling again, and, unlike Pete and Andy, I had no lights or jacket with me, so I did not linger and rode purposefully on back to the car; it was already fairly dark in the shadows and plenty cool on the descent. However, Pete and Andy fell behind when they engaged the lady in some conversation on the climb; she was walking fast, and they kept pace with her; evidently, she is single and walks nearly every day. Pity!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
