Bike MS - Day 1

Had 3 flats. Before leaving lunch, I happened across a friend I had'nt seen in over 20 years and had just been talking about recently. As his name is SUPER common, I figured I'd lost him forever - what a small world. The 3rd flat occurred about 2 miles out of Palmyra. I made the call to simply call it a day and was sagged the rest of the way to Whitewater. In the end, the issue was my wheel tape - apparently a spoke must have been coming thru and puncturing the tire. Unfortunately due to those flats, only got in 41mi of biking. But it was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time and was in wonderful spirits. (And yes, I DID reach 25mph on that bike chasing my friend!)

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
