Took a zipcar from the office at 3:30 to ride Tiger before the rain starts in again. $60 for the car for 6 hours, but very worth it! Ground my way up to the top; some of the road is snowy, and I spun out and had to push for a while. Took in the fading view of Rainier with the sun setting behind clouds, bundled up, and then did East Summit (snow makes it exciting!), OTG, and then back up for lower OTG again and out via Fully Rigid->Northwest Passage. OTG had some puddles, and was pretty exciting in the dark! Apparently this ride was my fastest time up Quick Link, and down Joy Ride? I'm quite shocked: Joy Ride is where I was running only my helmet light to ensure I had enough battery to get back to the car. Speaking of which: it gets dark in the woods very fast! I didn't think I'd need the lights starting at East Summit, but I turned them both on as soon as I got under the trees. Glad I had two: I was able to alternate them to save battery, and I liked having both on OTG. I'm going to put the brighter one on the helmet next time.
