2020-04-29 Wednesday Ride

Paul & I left home around 6am to meet Art, Jim & Rich H for an early start on our weekly ride; the temp was in the mid-60s. Jim decided to continue around the entire Tucson Loop; Rich turned back at Valencia Rd; Art, Paul & I decided to turn around at McDonald's after a quick breakfast break as it was quickly warming up to the forecast of 102 degrees for the day! By the time Paul & I got home around 10am, it was already in the 90s!! This was our last ride for the spring with the regular riders on Art's Wednesday rides. Paul & I thoroughly enjoyed biking & getting to know them all. We will miss them as we return to Oregon for the summer, but will be back again in the fall.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
