Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

First things first... Lala past away a few days ago, so this ride is deticated to her.
I got the new camera mount today and immediately got it from the mailbox and put it on my bike. Unfortunately, the clamp was too big for the handlebar. I found a shim for the Garmin computer mount. It fit perfect. So, I aligned everything and tightened the screws. I was very very skeptical. I thought there would be VERY little difference. This ride was awesome in many regards. First, I scorched the route today. Probably top 3 or 4 in all of the time I've ridden that route. I was suffering, but it was manageable. My lower back was aching the most, so I had to stretch whenever I had the chance. So, when I got home, I got my camera gear, ran upstairs, copied the videos/images to my computer and had the timelapse videos encoded. So, cutting to the chase, when I saw the realtime videos, I was BLOWN away. I couldn't believe that the image was rock solid, with an acceptable amount jitter. If I didn't know any better, I would say that there were almost no bumps on the ride that I did. Nothing could be further from the truth. So, I'm keeping this mount, no doubt. I decided that I want to do the Wall to Wall ride on Sunday. I need to show up at 1:30pm at Keene. I'll see how that goes. I'm a a little reluctant to ride on the 58, but if there's enough riders (say, over 100), then I'm game. We'll see how that turns out.
I forgot to mention that in the first few miles of the ride my left Pelvic bone was hurting. After about 5 miles it went away. Not sure what to make of it, but I thought I'd document it.
