WW Day 4 - Milton to Jefferson 6-29-15

Look. Cool, cloudy day, changed to rain at halfway point around lunch. Ride started at Storr's Lake in Milton, took the Glacial River Trail up to Jefferson and had lunch at Wedl's Hamburger Stand. It started pouring at lunch, we waited around for 45 minutes then headed back in the rain. Not a bad ride as the temperatures were ok. Trail was somewhat disappointing as it basically followed highway 26 all the way up to Jefferson with very little good scenery. After cleanup at the BnB, weather cleared but it was definitely cooler. Took Tony over to Second Salem Brewery, then we had an excellent dinner at the Black Sheep restaurant.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
