Mixed surface ride, nearly 50/50 mix. Goes Wildcat to Bald River Rd. Then takes the three mile out and back to Waucheesi. From there you drop down Bald eve rd to the Bald River, follow it several miles, eventually climbing away from it enroute to the river rd, about half a mile above the Green Cove store. A great place to restock, if needed. Snacks, drinks, hot dogs etc. From there it is downhill on pavement a few miles following the Tellico Rvr, then a turn onto gravel to take the cut through to North Rvr rd. Drop down North back to River rd for several miles of paved descending past Bald River falls, while following the beautiful Tellico River. Paved from here to the end. Winding, hilly country roads back to Tellico. Expect just shy of 6000’ feet of climbing. A fun and varied route.
