Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Did a solo ride today. Weather was perfect, albeit the wind coming from the south east. I was flying down the mountain on the way out. There was a mountain biker who was right behind me about 300 yards when I got to the top of the descent. He caught up to me on the Keene Ranch area. I must admit, I was a little discouraged that a mountain biker was able to bridge the gap, but then again, mountain bikers are excellent handlers. On the way back I did the usual u-turn, he also did it but a few hundred yards before me. So, on the ascent, I kept my distance (about 200-300 yards). He stopped for some reason. It looked like he had a mechanical problem. When I passed him, I uped the tempo just to see if he was going to catch me. The rest of the way, I didn't see him behind me at any point. My guess is that he had a 5 minute mechanical. Bike is working great, as is the GoPro. Ailments, my back was a little sore, but getting out of the saddle and changing possitions helped. My right hand was tingling just a little at the last mile of the climb. My legs felt a little more balanced. Still, desperately, trying to iron out my form between my legs.
