Aluminum Man - 55

The ride start, Ramsey Beach, has restrooms and water during the summer; restrooms may be closed early or late season. The closest gas station is on highway 61 about 1/2 mile before the turn on to highway 96. Like Straw Man, this ride features rolling terrain and a climb out of Marine on St. Croix on Nason Hill. The roads on the way to Scandia are a particular treat - lightly trafficked and scenic, with lakes and woods. This ride is from page 51 of Minnesota Bike Atlas, 7th Edition, copyright 2007. Today I ran into construction on Goodview Ave that runs north going to Egg Lake Road and into Hugo, so had to back out and take other roads to eventually get to Hugo.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
