Garmin auto-start let me down for the first time. I did not record the Time Trial data, just the warmup ride down from the Acme where I parked my RAV. Oh well, it was a slow TT for me. Plus, I missed the turn at the blinker light because I did not see the light! (Maybe because it was the same amber color as the evening sunlight?) Was riding along up Kings Highway, thinking 'I don't remember a crossroad intersection along here' and as I was going by it, I noticed the sign saying Haines Neck Road. *urk* Had to have cost me ten seconds or more. I'll get the numbers from Mary & Gary. Still, a fun event, with an enjoyable countdown at the start, like the TdF. Other participants were Gary, Brian S and John H with Mary keeping time. Wind WSW 8mph took a toll on the first 4.5 miles, down NJ 45. Pizza and dessert afterward, as usual, at the grassy area in the trees between the Acme lot and NJ 45. EDIT: Per Timer (Mary), I did 33m 02s for an 18.2 mph avg.
