2020-11-29 Tucson Loop Counterclockwise

After the cold morning start with temps barely above 40F degrees the day grew perfect for this 60 mile ride: sunny, no wind, temps climbed into low 70s, & good company. Paul & I joined Pam & Bill at Far Horizons riding the Rillito River portion early in the ride before it became busy with other bikers & pedestrians due to the cool morning temperature. We stopped for a quick snack at the St Mary's park which is a half way point, then proceeded toward Julian Wash Bikeway with very few other users making for a very pleasant afternoon ride!

As we started the Santa Cruz River Park portion of the Loop we saw a lone javalina grazing in the grass which was Bill's first javalina sighting (see photo).
