Rode to Rich's this morning to deliver the latest Spoke 'n Word, our South Jersey Wheelmen club newsletter. Rich does not use the internet (despite previously teaching high school computer science classes) with which he could access the newsletter online, so he is the last member who requires either snail mail or hand-delivery. We had a good chat and he caught me up on his latest news while standing 6' apart on his front step on this cold grey windy morning. Rich is a funny guy, but I started catching a sweaty chill just standing there, so I moved on sooner than I really wanted to. From Rich's I rode to Erlton Bike Shop (getting flurried on along Atlantic Ave) to deliver their newsletter copy, and caught a bell choir performance by a stable on Kings Highway in downtown Haddonfield. It had taken about a half-hour to get layered up and geared up for the ride, but it was worth it to be out on such a day. On the '88 Trek 400.
