Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

👍 we're going to have to start looking at these rides with a critical eye. Is it one we'd like to do in real life 😁
Yeah, this one was pretty scenic, but not spectacular. It would be a fun little climb if it was part of a longer ride.
We'll have to start writing down the rides we think might be good and run them all by Robert ,at some time.
👍
Was looking at Robert's blog in the Col Informer section. Specifically at Alpe d'Huez and although he says it's a great climb with lots of good scenery, there are 3 other climbs in that same area that he rates above the Alpe. Croix de Fer, Col du Sablot and La Berarde'. I've ridden the Croix de Fer on Erg Video but, have never heard of the Sablot or the Berarde'. Should put those three on our list along with possibly Alpe d'Huez just because it's the Alpe!
Absolutely!
Ventoux and Stelvio should be on our list.
If we make it to Mallorca, Cap Formentor and Sa Calobra would be on my list.
As for the Canary Islands, only Tenerife would appeal to me. I haven't been impressed with the scenery on the virtual rides I've done on Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
Corsica has some nice rides, too.
I doubt we could squeeze all that into one trip, though.
We'll just have to win the lottery and go every year. 😁
Ventoux and Stelvio should definitely be on the list. Looks like the Canaries are actually off the coast of Africa, a pretty good distance from Spain. Might need a separate trip to do that area and maybe Mallorca.
Yeah, I'm afraid Mallorca may have to wait for another trip. 😞
It wouldn't hurt my feelings to skip the Canaries.
Yea, I wouldn't miss the Cannaries. Mallorca is just off the coast of Spain. It might be doable in a 2 week trip.
