My buddy and I started this adventure and similar to the Galena Climb Ride the other day, This ride started at 4000' altitude and finished just under 6850' which was my highest elevation change ride. Since starting at a lower altitude it was a little easier to ride. This ride was mostly up hill but had much steeper climbs and but with the steep climbs we had some rest periods as we descended for a short bit than did Galena Ride. Some of our descents were false descents, we were still climbing any where from 1.5 to 3.5% grades. Jim made it to 12 miles leaving me to finish the last 8 miles solo. We again had sag support from Jim's girlfriend. The toughest climb came just after jim let me ride solo, I was trying to catch a few rides up ahead and prevent a rider from behind catching me. I caught one ride just after he pulled off the road to sit under a tree, it was over 90* dry heat but still hot. Another rider got picked up just before I caught up and the 3rd turned off to a different location. The rider behind me must have given up as I never seen him again even after I finished, I rode around for a 1/2 mile and loaded the bike on the car walked around a bit and still no rider so we went into the Lodge to by some gift

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
