Upper County Wind Ride

So the rain that kept us from this ride yesterday stopped and a front moved through and with it, a LOT of wind from the NW. For most of the ride, it was a cross or quartering wind except for the stretch from 9.5 to 12.5. Brisk, brisk evening with the temps falling from the 70s into the low 60s. We of course were unprepared (hey! it's been warm!) but didn't find ourselves uncomfortably, uh, numb, though another 30 minutes mighta gotten us there.

Cardio felt pretty good for a change. The segment directly into the wind was hard and a rest was demanded after that and after the big climb from 13.5 to 14.5. After that it was mostly about trying to steer straight.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
